When placing one video format into another; this means literally:
recording or digitizing a video source (example: say widescreen) into an
editing system that is set up for (example) "normal" (4:3) video.
Obviously this would look wrong on the screen (widescreen would
look squished on the normal video)
The "Change" percentage is the Video effect you would apply to the
video to make it look "right."
On an Avid, I recommend you use the "Picture-In-Picture" effect to do
this, not the "Resize" effect. (Picture-in-Picture has more options)
